Mission Accomplished!

Wow, just wow. All y'all are incredible and your love and support have left us speechless, but we'll try to find some words to share with you tonight anyway.

This Kickstarter is the beginning of something really special. We have said since launch that this campaign is a Kickstarter in the truest sense of the word, helping us make possible a product line we could never have funded on our own. With your help, we will be able to bring not six but SEVEN adorable kobolds into the world, and with numerous local game stores expressing interest in stocking them, we believe we can transition this into a sustainable and expandable product line.

Over the next six months, we'll be hard at work getting these kobolds into your loving homes before Christmas, but that won't be the end. Once we've delivered your rewards, we'll be making more kobolds, more accessories, more pets, and even plushies other than kobolds. Because even though this campaign was called Kobold Plushies, we aspire to bring you heroic plushies of all sorts of cuddly creatures!

What to expect next

Once Kickstarter collects and releases the funds from this campaign, a process that takes roughly two weeks, we'll be able to import all your settings into BackerKit's pledge manager.

Around the start of June, we will notify you to enable you to finalize your selections, including choosing which pins and plushies you want. You should get an email, and we'll also post an update and reminders on social media.

You will have a month to finalize your selections, and the pledge manager will close near the end of June. This enables us to give our manufacturers accurate counts for production so that they can make and ship the kobolds in time to meet our promised delivery dates. It's therefore important that you respond to the survey as quickly as possible to prevent any delays in receiving your order.

After that, we expect to transition Hero Plush and Bonfire Bites onto a revamped website, where you'll have a variety of fun activities to keep you occupied while you wait for your kobolds to be ready to adopt. And of course, we will keep you updated to new developments as we learn them so that you're with us at every stage of the process, just as you've been with us through this campaign! Once again, thank you so much! May all your adventures be epic and all your heroes be gallant!

One Last Final Ultimate Stretch Goal!

Wow, folks! We hit that $58K stretch goal fast! Remember to pledge for at least one plushie to get the free healing potion! 

Our secret dream for awhile has been to get this campaign to $60k, so let's put one final incentive into place to try to get us there! If we can reach $60k by the end of the campaign tonight at 1AM EDT / 10PM PDT, then we'll add one more freebie for anyone who pledges for at least one Kobold Plushie!  We're going to add a new Pet Tote! Since this wasn't planned ahead of time, we don't have any designs or previews to show you, but we're going to aim for a different overall design than the tote that Shep carries. Hopefully this one will be perfect for both our pseudodragon and Pickles the hedgehog!  If we don't get to $60k, we'll still pursue making the tote and aim to make it available as an add-on in the BackerKit. It's a Sprint to the End

We have only seven hours to go in the campaign! It's really hard to believe! The campaign ends at 1AM EDT / 10PM PDT tonight! It's time to look through the campaign page, check your add-ons twice, and make sure your kobold tribe is properly geared up for adventure! Let's see where we stand!

Time to Stock up (with freebies!)

Everyone knows the importance of stocking up before you head out on an adventure, and the one thing you never travel without is a Healing Potion! As a thank you for being a backer on this Kickstarter, if we reach the $58,000 mark, we'll add a Healing Potion accessory FOR FREE to every pledge that includes at least one plushie!  

Kaku the Monk Pin Unlocked

In reaching the $56,000 stretch goal we've unlocked a Kaku the Monk pin! It's added for free to the Rainbow Kobold Pin Set tier/add-on and to the Little Dragon Hoard, Get It All, and Inventor tiers.  If you want just the Kaku pin add-on, you can choose the single pin ($10) add-on and choose Kaku using the BackerKit pledge manager at the end of the campaign.

A Wild Kaku Appears! 

You did it!  In record time, Kaku has joined the Sensational Six Kobolds!  Now the Scintillating Seven! Kaku is a free addition to the Get It All tier. Well, technically, you'll get to choose 8 kobolds now in the Get It All Tier, and you can choose any combination you like! Want 8 Sheps and Pickles? You got it, pal!  Kaku will also be available to choose for all the kobold plushie tiers. And remember if you're in the 6 Kobold ($192) tier or higher, you can add on another kobold for $32. Lower tiers can add a kobold for $35. So if you do want all 7 kobolds and their gear, don't forget to update your pledge!  (And don't forget Classic Rory!)

Next we need to add young Kaku to our Kobold Pin Collection!  When we cross the $56,000 benchmark, a Kaku pin will be available as one of the add-on pins for $10, and will be included for free in the full Rainbow Kobold Pin Pack which is $50.  And of course, it'll be added for free in the Get It All, Little Dragon Hoard, and Inventor Tiers as well!

After that, we have one or two little surprises left. Little thank you gifts from us to you! But let's focus on getting our cute Kaku pin made first! 

One day left! Remember to update your pledges and let your friends know that the Kickstarter is coming to an end! If they want in on the kobold love, they just have until midnight Central time on Sunday night to do it! Let's see if we can end with a bang!

You did it!

You helped us #SaveYuki and free all six original kobolds from their cage! But... it looks like Yuki's rescuer got himself trapped in the wreckage of the cage!  Allow me to introduce you to Rory's old adventuring companion, the black kobold monk known as Kaku!  Our surprise stretch goal is a Kaku Plushie!

We don't have a physical version of Kaku yet to show you, but our manufacturer is in the process of working on it! (Note that his final form may differ from the above mock-up.) Honestly, we didn't expect to be able to include him in this Kickstarter, but because of your dedication, hard work, and faith in us, we're hopefully going to be able to add Kaku to our Kobold line-up! 

And because we unlocked Yuki so quickly, we're able to set Kaku's stretch goal lower than the other kobolds!  Once we hit $54,000 in funding, Kaku will officially be unlocked! We're confident we'll be able to make it in the surge of backers who typically flow in at the 48 hour mark! 

If you want to help us unlock Kaku, you can go ahead and add on an extra kobold to your order using the "Manage Your Pledge" button.  Remember that if you're backing at the $192 "Six Kobold Plushies" tier, you're eligible to add on additional plushies for $32 ($3 off)!  And yes, Kaku will be included for free in the Get It All Tier, which is looking like a better and better deal!
